PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT

Preparing for your first massage therapy appointment can enhance your experience and ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your session.

Here's what you can expect and how to prepare:

Book now

Before Your Appointment

  • Arrival: Aim to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early. This allows time for any necessary paperwork and helps you start your session relaxed.

  • Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the treatment area, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level.

  • Hydration: Drink water before your session to keep your muscles hydrated and promote better circulation during the massage.

Deep Tissue massage

During Your Appointment

  • Consultation: Your therapist will discuss your health history, current concerns, and goals for the session. Be open about any areas of discomfort or specific issues you'd like to address.

Swedish massage

After Your Appointment

  • Post-Session Care: It's common to feel relaxed or even a bit fatigued after a massage. Plan for some downtime afterward. Drinking water post-session can help with rehydration and support your body's recovery process.

  • Comfort: Communicate with your therapist about pressure levels, room temperature, or any discomfort during the session. Your comfort is paramount.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Health Conditions: Inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries. This ensures the massage is tailored to your needs and is safe.

Feedback: Don't hesitate to provide feedback during or after the session. This helps your therapist adjust techniques to better suit you in future sessions.

By following these guidelines, you'll be well-prepared for your first massage therapy appointment, setting the stage for a beneficial and relaxing experience.
